3-4 lb Boneless Bottom Round Roast
1 envelop Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 can Cream of Mushroom soupRecipe
Preheat oven to 350°. Set Roast on a sheet of aluminum foil, spread Cream of Mushroom soup over the top and sides of the roast. Sprinkle Onion soup mix over the top. Bring up the sides of the aluminum foil, and make a "packet", loosely tenting the top of it. Put in a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Bake in the oven 2-3 hours.
Remove oven from. Drain the liquid from the packet into the casserole dish. Let the roast stand for a few minutes, and then carve into slices. Put the slices in the liquid, and cover the pan with aluminum foil. Return to the oven. Lower the heat to 200° and let simmer in the oven for another 1½-2 hours.
