    8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    salt, pepper and paprika, to taste
    1/2-1 stick of butter, melted

    2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
    1 small can mushrooms, drained
    1 (5 oz) can water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 cup white wine (or water)
    1/2 cup sliced toasted almonds

    PLACE CHICKEN IN GREASED BAKING DISH. SEASON LIGHTLY. DRIZZLE WITH MELTED BUTTER.

    BAKE IN 350°F OVEN FOR 1 HOUR. LOWER TEMPERATURE TO 300°F

    MIX SOUP, MUSHROOMS, WATER CHESTNUTS AND WINE AND POUR OVER CHICKEN. SPRINKLE TOP WITH TOASTED ALMONDS AND CONTINUE BAKING FOR 45 MINUTES MORE AT 300°F.



    TOP EACH PIECE WITH A DOLLOP OF SOUR CREAM BEFORE SERVING.
