SEASAME CHICKEN

List of Ingredients
3 Pounds boneless chicken legs or breasts
2 Cups flour
2 Cups cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 Cup water
1 Egg
4 Cups oil
FOR SAUCE:
4 Cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/3 Cup cooking wine
1 Cup soy sauce
1 Cup vinegar
1/3 Cup catsup
4 Cups sugar
1 Tablespoon tomato sauce
2/3 Cup water
1 Cup cornstarch
1 Tablespoon sesame seeds
Recipe
Cut chicken into 2 to 3-inch cubes. Mix together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, water and egg and marinate for 20 minutes. Add chicken pieces a few at a time into hot oil an deep fry until golden brown.
Drain and repeat with remaining pieces. Cover with Sesame Sauce.
TO MAKE SAUCE:
Put 4 cups water in pan. Add salt, hot sauce, cooking wine, soy sauce, vinegar, catsup and sugar and bring to a boil. Add tomato sauce, stirring continuously.
Mix 2/3 cup water and corn starch, then add slowly to the sauce, stirring continuously unti it boils.
To serve, pour over food. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
