½ pound beef round tip steaks
2 Tablespoons dry sherry
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Hot cooked pasta, rice or steamed vegetables
1 green onion, slicedRecipe
Cut beef into 1-inch-wide strips; place in glass baking dish.
Combine sherry, soy sauce and garlic in small bowl. Pour over beef; let stand for 15 minutes.
Drain beef; reserve marinade. Pat dry with paper towels. Heat oil in large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry beef for 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon over pasta, rice or steamed vegetables.
Add reserved marinade to skillet; cook until bubbly and heated through. Pour over steak strips; garnish with green onion
