    2 cups thinly sliced celery
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine
    1 1/2 cups sliced green onion
    1 1/2 lbs hot dog
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 cups milk
    2 teaspoons rubbed sage
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    17 ounces cornbread mix
    2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400.
    2. In skillet,saute the celery& butter 5 minutes.
    3. Add onions; saute for 5 minutes more.
    4. Put mixture in large bowl;set aside for now.
    5. Cut the hot dogs lengthwise into quarters,then into thirds.
    6. In same skillet,saute hot dogs 5 minutes or until lightly browned;& add to vegetables.
    7. Set aside 1 cup.
    8. In large bowl,combine eggs, milk,sage& pepper.
    9. Add remaining hot dog mixture& stir in cornbread mixes.
    10. Add 1 1/2 cups of cheese,spread into shallow 3-qt.
    11. baking dish.
    12. Top with reserved hot dog mixture& the remaining cheese.
    13. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
