Korean Sushi
U've all tasted the Japanese Sushi and Cali Rolls,
But Korean sushi offers a unique taste - the famous korean BBQ.
List of Ingredients
- Minced Meat
- egg
- sticky rice
- seaweed roll(uncut)
- soy sauce
- sugar
- sesame oil
- carrot
- spinach
- cucumber
- pickled radish
- wood roller. Or make one or by hand if u can manage.
Instructions
- Making rice is very important. It must warm. Add a pinch of salt so that it doesn't scatter.
- For the egg, poach it like a pancake.
Slice them long at 1cm width.
- Cut the cucumber at same length and width. Of course you'd have to cut out the skin and take out seeds beforehand.
- Slightly stirfry the spinach. The better without any wter or oil left.(Same with carrot)
- Cut the pickled radish the same way as the eggs and cucumbers.(You can buy these at any asian markets near you)
- Flavor the minced meat with bbq sauce. Put two tablespoons of soy sauce, one tablespoon of sugar, but of pepper and syrup. Add one drop of sesame oil.
- On a saucepan, fry the meat at low fire till it's well cooked. Cool the meat.
- Lay the sheet of seaweed. Spread the rice a bit over half way.
- In the middle put bits of carrot, radish, cucumber, etc in any order.(Notice not to put too much as it will get fat and hard to eat.)
- Roll slowly at a steady pace.
- When having formed a strong roll, Cut it by 1cm.
Should make at least 12-15 pieces.
