Baked Beans Plus
List of Ingredients
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
3 cans (16 ounces each) pork and beans or vegetarian beans
1 1/2 cups salsa
1/4 cup firmly packed light or dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9" x 13" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper over medium-high heat until no pink remains in the meat, drain off the excess liquid. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well combined, bring to a boil. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 1 hour, or until heated through and bubbly.
