Country Baked Squash
List of Ingredients
2 pounds small yellow squash
1/4 cup water
4 tablespoons Minced Onion
4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted, divided
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon McCormick� Bon App�tit
1 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1/2 cup saltine cracker crumbs
Recipe
1. Wash but don't peel squash. Slice 1/2 inch thick and place in 4-quart saucepan. Add water and minced onion. Heat to boil and cook about 10 minutes or just until tender.
2. Drain squash and place in 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking pan. Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over squash.
3. Place milk, eggs, Bon App�tit, parsley, and pepper in small bowl. Mix well and pour over squash. Place cracker crumbs in small bowl and stir in remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle over squash.
4. Bake, uncovered, in 350 F oven 20 minutes.
