Oven-Fried Potatoes
List of Ingredients
1 pound (1 large) baking potato, scrubbed
1 teaspoon canola oil
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/16 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Recipe
Preheat oven to 450°. Line a cookie sheet with foil; coat with vegetable cooking spray. Cut the potato in half then lengthwide into 1/2-inch sticks. Toss with oil in a bowl to coat. Sprinkle with the sugar, salt and red pepper and toss again. Spread potatoes in an even layer on the prepared cooked sheet. Bake 30 minutes, until golden.
