6 slices bacon
1/2 pound sausage
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups warm milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
few grind of pepper

brown and cook sausage, crumble as cooking
fry bacon crisp. remove from pan. reserve fat
keep 3 tablespoon reserved fat in pan that bacon was cooked in. heat, add flour, cook on low until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. add warm milk, stirring constantly, add, salt and pepper. simmer about 10 minutes or until thickened, and heavy cream, and sausage.
chopped crisp bacon into small pieces.
serve gravy over biscuits, sprinkle with chopped bacon
