    Seven Layer Dinner

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 c. sliced potatoes
    • 1 c. sliced carrots
    • 1/2 c. sliced onions
    • 1 lb. hamburger
    • 1 c. peas
    • 1/2 c. rice (raw)
    • 2 c. canned tomatoes


    Instructions


    1. (Season with salt and pepper all along the way.)

    2. Grease a large casserole well and arrange the following in layers: potatoes, carrots, and onions.

    3. Next layer: crumble hamburger over top.

    4. Add layer of peas and washed and drained rice.

    5. Pour tomatoes over top of all layers.

    6. Cover and bake 2 hours in 300 degree oven.

    7. If mixture seems too dry, add a little water.
