    12-Hour Slow Cooker Recipes

    Recipe Introduction


    Whether for a hearty breakfast or a one dish meal with side salad, this recipe can be used for breakfast, lunch, or a light supper.

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. frozen tater tots
    1/2 lb. cooked ham, diced
    1/2 C. chopped onions
    1/2 C. diced green peppers
    3/4 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 eggs
    1/2 C. milk
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Layer 1/3 of the frozen tater tots across bottom of slow cooker. Place 1/3 of the cooked diced ham in a layer over tater tots. Next, add 1/3 of the chopped onions followed by 1/3 of the diced green pepper. Top with 1/3 of the shredded Cheddar cheese. Repeat layers two more times in same order, using half of the remaining ingredients each time.

    In a medium bowl, beat together eggs and milk using a wire whisk. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined and pour mixture over ingredients in slow cooker.

    Cover and cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or overnight. To serve, use a long spatula to remove ham n' tater casserole from slow cooker.
