    Pecan Pie

    Dear Abby newspaper column

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup white corn syrup
    1 cup dark brown sugar
    pinch of salt
    1/3 cup melted butter
    3 whole eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 heaping cup shelled pecans

    Recipe

    Mix all ingredients well. Pour into unbaked deep 9-inch pastry pie shell and bake in 350-degree oven 45 to 50 minutes. Cool and top with whipped cream or ice cream. But served plain, nothing tops this!
