    Recipe Introduction


    This is my mother's favorite salad dressing, found in "Favorite Recipes From Country Kitchens: Salads"

    List of Ingredients




    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c vinegar
    1 tbsp salt
    1 tbsp dry mustard
    1 c salad oil or olive oil
    1 tsp celery salt
    1 large onion, finely chopped

    Recipe



    Boil sugar, vinegar, salt and mustard for 1 minute. Cool. Add oil, celery salt and onion. Pour into jar; cover. Keeps in refrigerator for several weeks. Shake well before serving over cut cabbage, greens, bean salad, or your own favorite salad.
