Baked Potato Soup

List of Ingredients
- 3 lg. baking potatoes
- 3 tsp. butter
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 sticks sweet cream salted butter
- 2 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
- 2 c. milk
- 1 whole head of roasted garlic
- baked potatoes
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 c. shredded chedar cheese
Instructions
- Pre heat ovin to 375.
- Wash potatoes. Wrap with butter and salt & pepper in aluminum foil. Bake until tender, about 1 1/2 hrs. Let cool completely before handling.
- Cut potatoes into pieces (including skin) and put in a large sauce pot. Add remaining ingredients, excpet bacon.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Let simmer for 30 minutes, making sure all ingredients have melted.
- Serve soup in bowls topped with grated cheese, sour cream, and bacon.
