    Baked Potato Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 lg. baking potatoes
    • 3 tsp. butter
    • pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1 1/2 sticks sweet cream salted butter
    • 2 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
    • 2 c. milk
    • 1 whole head of roasted garlic
    • baked potatoes
    • pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese
    • 1 c. sour cream
    • cooked bacon, crumbled
    • 1 c. shredded chedar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Pre heat ovin to 375.

    2. Wash potatoes. Wrap with butter and salt & pepper in aluminum foil. Bake until tender, about 1 1/2 hrs. Let cool completely before handling.

    3. Cut potatoes into pieces (including skin) and put in a large sauce pot. Add remaining ingredients, excpet bacon.

    4. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Let simmer for 30 minutes, making sure all ingredients have melted.

    5. Serve soup in bowls topped with grated cheese, sour cream, and bacon.

    Yummy! This one is not for those who are watching their callorie intake.
