List of Ingredients
16 oz cooked lean ground beef
1 cup canned tomatoes
1 package frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup uncooked barley Recipe
Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet or pot, until beef is browned. Pour into colander to drain off fat. Return to skillet. Stir in tomatoes and barley. Add 3 cups water. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Add vegetables; cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until vegetables are cooked through and barley is tender. If desired, add salt and pepper to taste. Makes 6 servings.
