    Family favorite. The original recipe came out of a magazine years ago and has been altered since. :-)

    List of Ingredients




    Sharp or Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    Half & half or milk
    Flour
    Butter
    Salt
    Pepper
    Fresh tomato chunks (opt)

    Recipe



    Melt butter (approx. 3 tbls) in saucepan, add flour (approx. 3-5 tbls) cook until slightly brown, slowly add 2 cups half and half, stir over med. heat until it starts to thicken, add 2 cups + of grated cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Add to 16 oz. of cooked rotini in a greased casserole, fold in tomato, top w/additional grated cheese and bake @ 350F for 30 to 45 mins.
