    Cook Time: 45 minutes


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb mild Italian sausage
    • 1 (2 lb) pkg of prepaired mashed potatoes
    • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
    • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
    • 2 cups fresh corn, sliced off the cob
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 3 medium garlic cloves, finely chopped
    • 1 unbaked pie shell (9 inch)
    • 2 Tbs olive oil
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • pepper


    Instructions


    1. In a medium skillet, saute crumbled sausage until lightly browned.
    2. Add salt, green pepper, garlic, and onion to sausage mixture and continue sauteing until soft.
    3. Warm potato mixture to facilitate spreading.
    4. Place sausage and pepper mixture into the pie shell.
    5. Spread fresh corn ver mixture.
    6. Spread mashed potatoes to cover pie. Cover pie with mozzarella cheese.
    7. Place pie on 1 inch rack and bake on power level 8 for 30 minutes.
