    5 Minute Brussel Sprouts

    Prep Time: 5 minutes
    Cook Time: 10 minutes


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb brussel sprouts
    • 3 Tbs olive oil
    • 2 tsp lemon juice
    • 2 medium garlic cloves, pressed
    • salt and pepper


    Instructions


    1. Fill the bottom of a steamer with 2 inches of water.
    2. Bring water to low boil.
    3. Cut brussel sprouts into quarters.
    4. Press garlic.
    5. Steam brussel sprouts for 5 minutes.
    6. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
    7. Place hot sprouts in bowl and top with dressing and toss.
    8. You can add garlic in the final 2 minutes of steaming to mellow garlic flavor.
