This is a lowfat variation of an old-time favorite! First, the reduced calorie vanilla wafers are actually better, they are crispier and don't have that ''greasy'' taste and feel.
First, mix your pudding with skim milk, set aside. Use a casserole dish and line the bottom with one layer of vanilla wafers, layer of sliced bananas, and then about an inch of vanilla pudding, repeat the procedure till no pudding is left or you reach the top of the dish, ending with a layer of pudding and a few banans on top. Kids love this!
Mix everything but the sourcream and chesse in a dish and then add the sourcream and sprinkle the cheese of the top of the dish. Heat in microwave or oven till dish is heated and cheese is melted. I use ''mild salsa'' in my dish, we are all whimps.
