    3/4 cup sugar
    6 tablespoons margarine
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1 ½ tablespoon cocoa
    ½ cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Additional 1 cup sugar
    ¼ cup cocoa

    Recipe



    Melt margarine in 8x10” pan in oven. Stir together sugar, cocoa and flour in large glass mixing bowl. Add milk and vanilla. Spoon batter into hot melted margarine (batter will be thick) but do not mix.



    Mix together 1 cup sugar and ¼ cup cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Do not mix.

    Boil 1 ½ cups of water. Pour boiling water over dry mixture trying to wet all of it. DO NOT MIX. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Do not over cook. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
