    Shrimp Dip

    This gets gobbled up in a hurry--it's one of those recipes that becomes addicting.


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
    • 10 3/4 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 cup mayonaisse
    • 1 small can of finely chopped olives
    • 1 cup of celery finely chopped
    • 1/2 cup of green onion finely chopped
    • 1 pound of small pink shrimp, fresh or frozen (thawed)


    Instructions


    1. Put cream cheese in medium sized bowl and mix with fork until smooth. (A few lumps are okay).
    2. Add rest of ingredients in order listed and mix with fork after each is added.
    3. Refrigerate at least 4 (four) hours to allow flavors to blend.
    4. Serve with unflavored tortilla chips, triscuits or stuff celery with it.


    Final Comments


    Do not use Miracle Whip in place of mayonaiise. Make sure you have lots of chips or crackers on hand, or people will start eating this with a spoon! I was skeptical about trying this, as it didn't sound good to me, but I can't seem to make enough of it now!!! Very yummy!!!
