    Very Easy Popcorn Balls

    This recipe is so easy that it can be done on the spur of the moment with great results!


    List of Ingredients


    • 5 quarts of unpopped popcorn with unpopped kernals removed.
    • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
    • 1/4 cup margarine (not light) or butter
    • 2 tsp. cold water
    • 2 5/8 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 cup minature mardhmellows


    Instructions


    1. In a sauce pan over medium heat, combine the cold water margarine,corn syrup,powdered sugar and marshmellows.
    2. Heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking, until mixture comes to a boil.
    3. Very carefully pour the hot mixture over the popcorn coating each kernal.
    4. Grease hands with vegetable oil and quickly form popcorn balls.
    5. Wrap in saran wrap after they have cooled.


    Final Comments


    By adding a little food coloring you can make colored balls. (the food coloring plus cold water should equal 2 teaspoons)One idea is to make them to hang on the Christmas tree!
