    Bisquick Breakfasts and Brunches (issue #22)


    Recipe Introduction


    Here's a quick breakfast for everyone.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups bisquick baking mix
    • 1/4 cup margerine
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 2/3 cup of milk
    • 1/4 cup rasberry preserves ( or other flavor)
    • Vanilla glaze (Recipe below)


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
    2. Grease cookie sheet.
    3. Mix baking mix, margerine and sugar in a medium bowl until crumbly.
    4. Stir in milk until dough forms.
    5. Beat 15 strokes.
    6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet.
    7. Make a well in the center with back of spoon.
    8. Fill each well with 1 teaspoon of preserves.
    9. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    10. Drizzle with vanilla glaze (below)
    11. Makes approx. 12 danish
    12. VANILLA GLAZE
    13. Ingredients
    14. 3/4 cup powdered sugar
      1 tablespoon warm water
      1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    15. Beat all ingredients until smooth.
