Recipe Introduction
Here's a quick breakfast for everyone.
List of Ingredients
- 2 cups bisquick baking mix
- 1/4 cup margerine
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2/3 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup rasberry preserves ( or other flavor)
- Vanilla glaze (Recipe below)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Grease cookie sheet.
- Mix baking mix, margerine and sugar in a medium bowl until crumbly.
- Stir in milk until dough forms.
- Beat 15 strokes.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet.
- Make a well in the center with back of spoon.
- Fill each well with 1 teaspoon of preserves.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with vanilla glaze (below)
- Makes approx. 12 danish
- VANILLA GLAZE
- Ingredients
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon warm water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- Beat all ingredients until smooth.
