French toast bake

Recipe Introduction


This one everyone will love. Blueberries, cream cheese and all. Very quick too.





List of Ingredients



• 1/2 cup of flour
  
• 1 1/2 cups milk
  
• 1 tbls sugar
  
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
  
• 1/4 tsp salt
  
• 6 eggs
  
• 10 slices of french bread cut into 1 inch cubes
  
• 1 pkg (3 oz) cream cheese cut into 1/2 cubes
  
• 1 cup frozen blueberries
  
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  
• powdered sugar if desired
  
• blueberry or maple syrup optional
  






Instructions



1. Generously grease 2 1/2 quart casserole or baking dish
   
   
2. Beat flour, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs in large bowl with beater until smoothe.
   
   
3. Stir in bread crumbs until coated
   
   
4. Pour bread nixture into pan. Top with cream cheese, blueberries and nuts.
   
   
5. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
   
   
6. Heat oven to 400 degrees
   
   
7. uncover and bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with syrup.
