Foamy Butter Sauce (for Apple Dumplings)

- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg well beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Put sugar, water, and stick of butter in nonstick sauce pan.
- Cook on low to melt sugar and butter.
- Continue stirring until sugar has disolved.
- Once sugar is disolved, remove pan from heat and let mixture cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled slowly pouir in beaten egg whisking rapidly.
- Once egg has been completely added, whisk in vanilla
