    Chicken Cacciatore: Slow Cooker

    Recipe Introduction


    This is a new recipe to me, but I have this in the Crock Pot for tonight. Thought you might like the recipe in case you want a hot dinner but need to be away for the day:

    List of Ingredients





    1 1/2c marinara sauce
    1/2 c thinly sliced olives
    1/4 c tomato paste (I used the whole can)
    1/4 c red or white wine
    1/2 tsp each dried rosemary and kosher salt
    8 small chicken thighs (I used 1 1/2 lbs breasts in small pieces)
    8 oz mushrooms, halved or if large, quartered

    Recipe



    Mix marinara, onions, tomato paste, wine, rosemary, and salt in slow cooker.

    Add chicken and mushrooms; toss to coat.

    Cover and cook on: high (2 1/2-3 1/2 hrs) or
    low (5-8 hrs)

    Remove to serving platter.

    Serve over noodles or rice.

    Per serving: 252 cal, 27g pro, 20g carb, 4g fiber, 7g fat, 916mg sod
