List of Ingredients
2 tsp canola oil
1 C finely chopped onion
1/2 C finely chopped green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 (16-oz) can butter beans, rinsed, drained
1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
3 tbsp Splenda
2 tsp chili powder
1/16 tsp ground allspice
1/16 tsp ground cloves
Salt to taste
Recipe
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, 5 minutes or until onion is lightly browned.
Add remaining ingredients and when mixture boils, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir occasionally while cooking.
Serve over brown rice.
