    List of Ingredients

1 lb. Core cut beef (not ground)
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/4 c. ff plain yogurt
    1 T. Core oil
    1 large onion, sliced
    3 garlic cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. ground coriander
2 tsp. chili powder (I only used 1/2 tsp--this is VERY spicy. Indian chili powder, more like cayenne, NOT Mexican flavored chili powder)
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. garam masala

    Recipe

Place beef in ziploc bag or between wax paper and pound the heck out of it with a rolling pin or mallet.

Rub the beef with salt and cut into serving size pieces. Place in a bowl with the yogurt and let marinate overnight.

Heat Oil in saucepan and cook onion and garlic. Cook until soft. Add all the spices and cook about 3 min more, stirring.

Add the beef/yogurt. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Serve w/brown basmati rice and Mango chutney (pts--low)

Instead of simmering on the stove, I put it in my crock pot on medium and cooked for about 4 hours.
