Garam masala is a Indian spice mixture. You can buy it if you have an Indian grocery near you. You can also find many recipes to make it.
McCormick sells a version of garam masala too, if you don't have any indian stores nearby.


List of Ingredients




4 tbsp lemon juice
6 cloves garlic
2 in. ginger root
1 coarsely chopped onion
1 small green chili
2/3 cup ff yogurt
1 tsp. ground coriander
2 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground tumeric
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp mace
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Salt

Recipe



Blend together marinade ingredients. Can use with any type of meat. Especially good with chicken. Marinate meat preferably overnight. Can then bake or grill.
