    Tomato spinach slow cooker soup (core)

    List of Ingredients




    10 oz baby spinach leaves, washed
    2 medium carrots, chopped
    2 medium celery stalks, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove of garlic, minced
    4 c vegetable broth, low-sodium
    28 oz canned diced tomatoes, no salt added
    2 bay leaves
    1 TBS dried basil
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, crushed

    Recipe



    Place all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 5 hours. Remove bay leaves, stir and serve. Yields 8 1-cup servings.
