    2 pounds asparagus
    4 cloves garlic-finely minced
    3 limes (juice of)
    2 Green Chilies-finely minced
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 red onion-finely diced
    2 plum tomatoes-seeded and chopped

    Recipe



    1) Cut 2" off the bottom of each stalk, peel the asparagus 1 1/2" to 2" from the bottom.

    2) Cook the asparagus in boiling salted water until tender.

    3) Combine all ingredients except tomatoes and onions, puree until mixture is smooth.

    4) Add the diced tomatoes and onions.

    5) Season as necessary.
