    Base:

    1 pkg yellow or white Cake Mix
    1/2 C Margarine - melted
    1/2 C Sliced Almonds

    Mix together & remove 1 Cup for topping. Press the rest into the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.

    Filling:

    8 oz Cream Cheese
    1/3 C Sugar
    2 Tbsp Flour
    1/8 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Vanilla
    1 Egg
    2 C Apricot Jam/Preserves/Filling - slightly warmed for easier spreading

    Spread at least 1 1/2 C of Apricot jam over base. Now cream cheese w/sugar. Add flour, salt, vanilla, & egg and beat until smooth. Add 1/2 C Apricot preserves and beat just a moment more. Spread this over base.

    Topping:

    1 C reserved Base
    1/2 C Coconut

    Combine & sprinkle over filling. Gently pat it in a bit.

    Bake at 350 30 min or until filling is set. Do Not Over Bake!
