    MOLE' IS A FAMOUS MEXICAN CATEGORY OF SAUCES

    List of Ingredients





    NEWER LG crockpot Turkey,OR MUSHROOM,OR chicken Mole#9 (lz quadrupled)
    1 cup sesame seeds
    1 cup slivered almonds
    6 dried New Mexico or California chiles,destemed+ RECONSTITUTED night before+refrigerated in hot water(covered)
    5 large onion, chopped
    1/4c+2tab garlic, crushed
    3/4 cup raisins
    1/4c "chile powder"(hotter kind)
    ¾ tspn cayanne(?)
    2 teaspoon ground coriander
    1 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 teaspoon anise seeds, coarsely crushed in mortar
    6 cinnamon sticks, about 2 inches long
    1/4c ground cinnamon
    3 1/2 to 6,or7 pounds turkey thighs,OR 2lb chick meat,OR3.5lbs whole mushrooms
    2 lg can tomatoes,DRAINED,+mildly blended
    1 can, tomato paste
    1cup tequila
    1/2c powdered chocolate

    1.Toast sesame seeds in a small frying pan over medium heat until golden brown (3 to 5 minutes), stirring often. Remove from pan. Add almonds+chile powder,&cayanne to pan and toast (5 to 8 minutes), stirring occasionally. Remove from pan. Add chilies to pan and cook, turning occasionally, until chilies are softened and richly fragrant (about 2 minutes). Remove from pan,1A.Cuisinart all very fine(chilies(WITH SEEDS+VEINES),ses.seeds,almonds,chile powder,cayanne+chiles).
    2.In the very large pan, combine onion, garlic, raisins, both chile powders, coriander, cloves, anise seeds, cinnamon + sticks, chilies, almonds,cloves anise and sesame seeds. Pour in tomatoes. Mix in tomatoes, tomato paste and tequila; pour over MUSHROOMS/turkey,then mix all well.3 .Put in lg sprayed crockpot, Cover and cook at low setting until turkey is so tender it pulls away from bones when prodded with a fork, or mushrooms cooked ( lo heat 8 1/2 to 10 1/2 hours),or HI HEAT for4-5hrs(test by tasting). Remove and discard cinnamon sticks. Accompany with rice,OR ON VEGS and,vegs+beans
