    List of Ingredients




    2 1/2 cup cooked pasta
    4 tsp olive oil
    2 small onion(s)
    1 medium carrot(s)
    1 small celery
    1 clove garlic clove(s)
    1 medium green pepper(s)
    8 oz canned mushrooms
    2 tsp dried thyme
    1 pound uncooked lean ground beef (with 7% fat)
    1/2 cup red wine
    14 1/2 oz canned tomatoes
    1 cup frozen green peas
    1/4 cup shredded fat-free mozzarella cheese
    2 Tbsp dried basil
    8 oz canned tomato sauce

    Recipe



    Cook pasta as instructed on package. Add oil to pan and sautee onions, green pepper, mushrooms, carrots, celery and garlic for about 10 minutes. Then add beef and cook until there is no pink (about five minutes). Add red wine and cook for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and peas and cook for another two minutes. Add tomato sauce and spices. Then add cooked pasta. Finally, add mozzarella cheese and stir until slightly melted. Serve.
