    1 cup vegetable oil
    2 cups brown sugar
    2 medium eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 cups unpeeled apples, cored and chopped
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
    Whipped cream (optional)

    Recipe



    Mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla together. Add cinnamon, flour, baking soda and salt. Add apples and nuts. Spoon and spread in greased 9"x13" pan. Bake in preheated 300F oven for 1 hour and 10 min. or until cake tests done. Cut into serving pieces and top with whipped cream, if desired.
