Baked Carrot and Apple Casserole

- 3 cup fresh carrots, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 3 cup apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly greased a baking pan
- In a saucepan, combine the carrots and 1/2 cup of water. Cook over low heat for about 15 minutes or untiltender. Drain.
- In a bowl, combine the apples, the carrots, and the honey.
- Arrange in the prepared baking dish, dot with the butter and cover. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the apples are tender. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
