    List of Ingredients


    • 1 package Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Butter Golden Cake Mix
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup pumpkin (solid pack)
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon divided
    • 1/4 each of ground ginger and nutmeg
    • 1 cup walnuts chopped
    • 1 Duncan Hines Vanilla Frosting
    • 1/4 cup walnuts coarsely chopped for granish


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 357 degrees. Grease and flour two round cake pans.
    2. Combine cake mix, eggs, water, pumpkin, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 4 minutes. Stir in 1 cup walnuts. Pour into prepared pans.
    3. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 15 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely.
    4. Combine frosting and remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Stir until well blended. Fill and frost cake. Garnish with the 1/4 cup of walnuts.
