1 or 2 eggs
1/4 can (3 oz.) evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed)
1/2 cup sugar
1 quart milk
1/16 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Recipe
Beat eggs, add sugar, mix together. Add salt, vanilla, and canned milk. Add about a pint of fresh milk and mix together. Pour into ice cream can and add remaining milk. Assemble freezer and freeze according to directions.
