    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/4 cups flour
    • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 cup softened butter or margarine
    • 1 cup packed brown sugar
    • 3/4 cup white sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels


    Instructions


    1. Combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, both sugars, and vanilla in another bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs about 2 minutes or until fluffy and light. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
    2. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes or until puffed. Let stand 2 minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool completley. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies
