Double Chocolate Cookies

- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup softened butter or margarine
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Instructions
- Combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, both sugars, and vanilla in another bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs about 2 minutes or until fluffy and light. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes or until puffed. Let stand 2 minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool completley. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies
