Bean Soup with Dumplings

Recipe Introduction
Just the thing for a cold winters night! Delicious served with fried potatoes and corn bread.
List of Ingredients
1 bag of great northern white beans rinsed and drained
8 cups of water
1 lb. of cubed ham
salt and pepper to taste
1 small onion chopped
1 tube of refrigerated biscut dough
Recipe
Rinse and drain beans. Place them in a crockpot and cover with water. Add ham, salt and pepper, and onion. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 hours or until beans are done. Cut biscut dough into fourths and roll into balls. Add to soup and cook for another 45 minutes or until firm. Serve with the fried potatoes and corn muffins if desired.
