    Recipe Introduction

Our family loves calzones but going to the local pizza place they charge an arm and a leg for so I started making them at home. This recipe feeds 2 if you want a calzone the size you would get. I split them in half and feed my 3 kids and I.

    List of Ingredients

~ Pizza Dough (I get the fresh kind from our deli already made another idea would be go to your local pizza place ours serves it for $1.50

~ 1/2 lb of deli ham (diced up)
    ~ Ricotta Cheese (15 oz)
    ~ Mozzerella Cheese (8 oz)
    ~ flour

    Recipe

Pre-heat oven according to dough instructions.
lightly dust a pizza pan with flour. Roll dough out.
Using a pizza cutter cut dough in half. Mix in a big bowl
diced ham and cheeses (salt and pepper to taste if you want)
Half way on the dough add half the filling. Fold dough over
and seal with a fork. Mine usually look mooned shape.

Bake according to pizza dough instructions.

Serve with favorite tomato/spaghetti sauce on the side
and maybe a side salad. Enjoy!

    * If you were to add sauce in the calzone you would be
having a stromboli. You can put what ever toppings in
a calzone or stomboli. Add your favorite may it be
meatballs, Italian Sausage, or Favorite Veggies.
    Be Creative!
