    Stuffed Peppers

    Recipe Introduction

    I serve my stuffed peppers kind of in a unique way. I incorporate lots of veggies to keep my family heathy :) This is one way I get them to eat it. So if your family loves stuffed peppers and enjoys carrots, celery, onions too then you will love these :) SERVES 4-5

    List of Ingredients

    4-5 Green Peppers
    2 lbs of hamburger
    1 red pepper (diced)
    half of an onion (diced)
    1 cup of carrots (diced)
    2 Celery Stalks (diced)
    2 (29 oz cans of HUNTS sauce)
    1 cup of water
    1/4 tsp of salt
    1/4 tsp of pepper
    2 cups of rice (one for meatballs one for sauce later)

    Recipe


    Rince all peppers
    Cut lids off all peppers and remove seeds (I keep the tops for lids to the peppers)

    In a big bowl add diced veggies, hamburger, salt and pepper
    1 cup of rice. Roll into big balls

    Stuff meat balls. Lots of meat into the peppers. Place into a big sauce pot. Put extra meatballs into the pot
    giving the peppers support. Pour in sauce and 1 cup of water. Bring to boil and then cook for 1 hour covered.
    Then add rice and cook for 15 more mins

    Enjoy!

    * Tip if you don't like lots of veggies you can make this
    with just rice, meat, salt and pepper
