Recipe Introduction
I tried making my stepmothers recipe and then ended up adding beef gravy to it because it just didn't taste all the same as hers. I'm impressed because it still came out awesome :)
List of Ingredients
1 pkg of cube steaks (mine had 5 in the pack)
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Green Pepper
1 cup of water
1 can of campbells beef gravy
oil
Recipe
Pre-heat oven to 325
1. First pour flour onto a plate. Add 1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of pepper. Cover on both sides of cube steaks
with the flour mixture
2. add a tbsp of oil to a skillet lightly brown on both
sides the cube steaks. Pull out of skillet and place
into a baking dish.
3. Using the drippings add water and scrape with a fork
Add beef gravy into it and peppers. Pour mixture over
cube steaks and bake for 1 1/2 hours on 325 covered.
Serve with some yummy cheddar mashed potatoes and favorite
veggie :)
