    List of Ingredients




    1 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3 egg yolks
    1 cup of buttermilk
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 cup butter (melted)
    3 egg whites

    Recipe



    1. Combine sugar, flour and salt - blend thoroughly
    2. Beat egg yolks slightly, add buttermilk, vanilla and butter
    3. Add gradually to dry ingredients and blend thoroughly
    4. Gently but thoroughly fold in stiffly beaten egg whites
    5. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Makes one large pie. Note: Aline made the pie above!
