    Fresh Peach and Praline Pie

    List of Ingredients





    1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
    1 unbaked, 9-inch pastry shell
    1/2 cup light corn syrup
    3 eggs
    1/4 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
    3 cups peeled, cubed fresh peaches
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    2 tablespoons butter, softened
    Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, optional

    Sprinkle 1 teaspoon flour over unbaked pastry shell; set aside.
    Combine syrup, eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, salt and
    nutmeg in a large bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 1 minute. Stir in peaches and 1/2 cup melted butter. Pour peach mixture into prepared pastry shell.

    Combine pecans, 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup brown sugar in a medium bowl, stirring well. Cut in 2 tablespoons butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle pecan mixture evenly over peach mixture.

    Bake at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes or until pie is set. Let cool completely. If desired, serve pie with whipped cream or ice cream.
