    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp vanilla extract
    1 (2-layer) package butter-recipe yellow cake mix
    1 to 2 cups confectioners' sugar

    Instructions:
    Beat the butter, cream cheese, egg and vanilla in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in the dry cake mix. Chill, covered, for 30 minutes. Drop the dough by teaspoonfulls into a bowl of confectioners' sugar and roll into balls. Arrange on cookie sheets lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
