1/2 cup crushed nuts, divided
Pinch of salt
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 pkg. (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups prepared packaged whipped topping mix, such as Dream Whip, divided
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 pkgs. (4-serving size each) instant lemon or vanilla pudding mix
3 cups milk

Blend 1/4 cup nuts, the salt, butter, flour and granulated sugar. Press into an 11x7-inch pan or glass dish. Bake 15 minutes at 350~. Let cool.
Mix the cream cheese, 1 cup whipped topping and the confectioners' sugar.
Spread over the cooled crust.
Beat the pudding mix and milk until thick. Spread over the cream cheese layer. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
Sprinkle the top with 1/4 cup nuts. Refrigerate.
