6 medium peaches (1 1/2 lbs)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 tbs brandy
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbs powdered sugar
1 tbs brandy
Recipe
blanch and peel the peaches, pit and cut into quarters. combine peaches, sugar and water: bring to a boil, simmer 1 minute. stir in 3 tbs brandy and vanilla. let stand until fruit reaches room temperature, then chill. arrange peaches on 6 dessert plates. combine sour cream, powdered sugar and 1 tbs brandy, spoon over fruit
