Baked Fresh Tuna

List of Ingredients
4 tuna steaks, about 6 ounces each
2 Tbs. Olive oil
1 large red onion, thinly sliced
4 medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup dry vermouth
1/4 cup fresh basil, or 1 tsp., crumbled Recipe
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Rub tuna steaks with 1 Tbs. Oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat remaining oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté onion 4-5 mins, stirring frequently, until limp. Stir in tomatoes and vermouth and simmer 3-4 mins until hot. Place steaks in a shallow baking dish and pour tomato mixture over.Bake About 15 mins until tuna is just pink inside. Sprinkle with basil.
